A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT
OF A REGIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PAGEANT
WHEREAS, the Southwest California Pageants would establish a regional
scholarship pageant program in the City of Lake Elsinore; and
WHEREAS, the pageant program would be open to all girls and young
women who reside in Lake Elsinore between the ages of 1 day to 20 years old; and
WHEREAS, the queen and her court would serve as goodwill
ambassadors for the City of Lake Elsinore and the Elsinore Valley Chamber of
Commerce events and ceremonies; and
WHEREAS, the pageant would allow young women additional
opportunities to become involved in community organizations that are working to
improve the City; and
WHEREAS, Southwest California Pageants would conduct the pageant at
no cost to the City of Lake Elsinore; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore,
California, does hereby resolve as follows:
That it supports Southwest California Pageants to establish a regional
scholarship program open to all girls and young woman who live in the City of Lake
Elsinore.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of February, 2010.

certify that Resolution No. 2010-005 was adopted by the City Council of the City of Lake
Elsinore, California, at a regular meeting held on the 23rd day of February, 2010, and
