A regular meeting of the Elsinore Planning Commission was held on
the above date.The meeting was called to order at the hour of 7:30
P.M.with chairman Claxton presiding.

Thereupon the Seely read the minutes of Dec. 8th.and there being
no errors or omissions were approved as read,
Thereupon the Seely read a Christmas card from Mayor Bartlett
wishing the members of the Planning Commission a Merry Christmas and
a Happy New Year.

Thereupon it was moved by Comm. Lucus seconded by Comm. Schulman
that the Planning Commission extend to the Mayor and members of the
City Council A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,which motion
upon motion was carried.

A regular meeting of the Elsinore Planning Commission was held on th
above date.The meeting was called to order at the hour of 7:30 P.M.
with chairman Claxton presiding.
Commissioners; Claxton,Lueus,Mayhall Merrifield and Schulman
answer roll call.
Thereupon theSeely read the minutes of the meeting held Nov.10th.
€ 1960 and there being no errors or omissions were approved as read,'
Thereupon the Seely read a letter from L.Goodwin of Los Angeles
asking information as to zoning,Street set back and water in the Lake,
he oWftgg 14 acers in Block H located between Railroad tract and
S*Ivester St.' See'y.instrueted to answer letter and give what
information available.-
The matter of the Geo.Moore prop. at Spring A Pottery Streets
again brought up.Chairman Claxton appointed Comm. Merrifield to take
up this matter with the Fire Chief and Building Inspector.
Whereupon it was moved by Comm. Lucus second by Comm. Schulman that
Seely expense in the amount of $5.00 for the meetings of Nov.10 and
Dec.Sth. be allowed,which motion upon vote was carried.

Thereupon the Seely read the minutes of the meeting held Oct.20th.
and there being no errors or omissions were approved as read.
Whereupon it was moved by Comm.lueas second by Comm.Mayhall that
the Seely be instructed to write a letter to Henry Boonjter Fire Chief
regarding the Geo.Moore Property on the Corner of Spring & Pottery
Streete.Commission wants to know if any thing has been done as to
cleaning this plaee.as it is a fire hazzard and uncitly.whieh motion
upon vote was carried.
Whereupon it was moved by Comm. Lucas second by Comm. Mayhall that
the meeting be adjourned.which motion upon vote was carried.

Thereupon the Seely read the minutes of the meeting held. Sept.
22nd and there being no errors or omissions were approved as read,
Mr Abranham Kaufman being present again requested a variance so
as to convert his Garage at 1403 west Graham into living quarters,
was informed to present a p ian of intention before any action could
be taken,
thereupon it was moved by Comm. Merrifield second by Gomm.
Schulman that Seely expense for four meetings in the amount of
$10.00 be allowed,whieh motion upon vote was carried,
Thereupon it was moved by Comm. Merrifield second by Comm.
Schulman that the meeting be adjourned,which motion upon vote
was carried.

Thereupon the see'y read a request from Dixie Stark,she asking for
a Variance.so as to build a house 39x 22 on a 50-x 90 lot.!Said lot
located in Elsinore Lake Park tract Unit #1 Lot 12 located at Corner of
!Herbert Ave and Green St
E Whereupon it was moved by Comm.Luous second by Comm.-Merrifield that
the Commission recomend to the City Council that the request of
,Dixie Stark be granted.lhe.lot does not have the required footage but
.there being no way to increase the size as tractestablished before
zoning ordinance was adopted,whieh motion upon vote was carried::.
Request from Abraham Kaufman asking for a variance to convert a
('garage into living quarters read.! Said Garage located at 1403 (Nest
f;Graham Ave.
Secratary instructed to write Mr Kaufman and inform him that the
(Commission would have to have a plan of intention before any action
p;couZd be taken.=Also lot and block number.

and 88 to create an Industrial Subdivision. Property bounded by
Chaney, Minthron and Silver Streets.^,

Thereupon the seely read the minutes of the meeting held June 16th.
and there being no errors or omissions were approved as read'
Thereupon the Seely read a letter from Ben Kagan and Mrs Ethel Parks'.
asking that there property be rezoned from an R-1 zone to an R-3 zone,
Seely instructed to write them a letter informing them that the
Commission would have to have a plan of intent also legal discription
of the property before any action could be taken by the Commission..
Mr Cameron and others were present in regards to the proposed
airport on Lucerne street. Were informed by the Commission that as
Mr Cameron had as yet not recieved his State permit no action could be
taken by The Commission:
Mr Ben Miller presented a plan for his proposed trailer court at
Peper Grove Camp on Railroad Avea Was informed by the Commission that
he would have to present the Commission with a legal discription of
the property before any action as to rezoning could be taken by the
s~ Commission.?

A regular meeting of the Elsinore Planning Commission was held
on the above date.The meeting was called to order at the hour of
7:30 P.11. with chairman Claxton presiding.
Commissioners; Claxton,Lacus,INlerrifield and Thompson answer roll
Call.
Thereupon the Seely read the minutes of the meeting held April
28th. and there being no errors or omissions were approved as read,
Letter read from Mrs Nemzer asking for a variance so as to operate
a locksmith shop at 113 North Langstaff St.located.in an R-2 zone.
Whereupon it was moved by Comm. llerrifield second by Comm. Thompson
f that a Committee be appointed to contact party planning to operate
A locksmith shop and ask him to locate in the business district,which
motion was carried. Chairman Claxton appointed Comm.Merrifield to
meet said party.
A Mr Cameron was present and asked regarding the rezoning of the
old gliderport on Lucerne St.He planning on starting a Parachute
i jumping school at that location. Was informed by the Commission to
get his State permit first and then bring it before the Commission.,
! Whereupon it was moved by Comm, I4lerifield second by Comm. Lucas
that the Southern Calif. Planning Congress dues in the amount of.
$25.00 be paid,which motion upon vote was carried.
Whereupon it was moved by Comm. Lucus second by Comm. Thompson
i that Seely expense for four meetings in the amount of $10.00 be
paid,whieh motion upon vote was carried.
Whereupon it was moved by Comm. Lucus second by Comm. Thompson
that the meeting be adjourned,which motion upon vote was carried.

25th, and there being no errors or corrections were approved as
read.
Thereupon the secly read a lettir from Harry C.Reynolds M.D.
owner of a junk yard on Railroad Ave.He requesting a permit to
reopen said yard.Yard had been closed for the past 12vmonth.
Whereupon it was moved by Comm. Goodwin second by Comm.,Miorrow
that as junk yard was located in an R-1 zone and a full Commission
was not present the matter be tabled till next meeting,whicn motion
upon vote was carried.

This being the time and place for a public hearing on the request
of Nate Schulman for a variance to permit hime to operate Physic-
Therapy treatment rooms in his proposed new residence at 108 North
Langstaff Street.'Said location in an R-2 zone.There being no one
prsent objecting to granting said variance the following motion was f
