RESOLUTSON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA~
REJECTING PROPOSALS AND DIRECTING A
READVERTISEMENT FOR WORKS OF IMPROVE-
MENT IN A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY. OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA,
pursuant to the provisions of the "MUnicipal Improvement Act of 1913", beinq
Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, has
adopted a Resolution of Intention for the construction of certain public
worlcs of improvement, together with appurtenances and~appurtenant worlc, in a
special asaessment dietrict known and designated as NORTEiWEST SEWER
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 86-1 (hereinafter referred to as the~"ASSeasment
District");~and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to law, a Notice Inviting Sealed Proposals wae duly
published and posted in the time, form and manner as required by law, and at
the hour for eaid bid opening, bids were opened and eventually presented for
consideration; and,
WHEREAS, at this time~this legislative body is desirous of rejecting
all Uids and authorizing readvertisement foi the works of improvement within
the Assessment District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the above recitals ar.e all true and correct.
2. That all bids previously received for the worJcs of improvemei~t for
the Assessment District are hereby rejected.
3. A copy of the Notice Inviting Sealed Proposals, entitled "NOTICE
INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS [BID CALL NUMBER 2] as now incorporated
in the specifications, and the terms and conditions of said Notice
Inviting Sealed Proposals are hereby approved and aclopted.
4. That said NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS [BID CALL NUMBER 2]
. ahall again be poated and published in the manner and form as
required by law, and said bids shall be opened and examined at a
~ public meeting with the results of the bidding repoited at the
next regular meeting following the opening of said bids.
5.~ That all provisions of the previously adopted .Resolution of
Intention and Engineer's "Report", includinq the plans and
apecifications settinq forth terms and conditions of the biddinq
for these works of improvement, except as any possible amendments
that miqht be included in the above-referenced NOTIC~ INVITING
SEALED PROPOSALS [BID CALL NUMBER 2], are again approved and
adopted.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 8th y of May, 1990.
