RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LAKE ELSINORE DETERMINING THAT A STREET
EASEMENT (PORTION OF GRAPE STREET)
IS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR
PROSPECTIVE PUBLIC USE AND VACATING SAID
EASEMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore desires
to vacate a street easement pursuant to the procedures set forth
in Streets and Hiahways Code Section 8320 et.sea., said easement
being more particularly described as follows:
BEING A PORTION OF SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 6 SOUTH, RANGE 4 WEST, SBM,
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS;
COMMENCING AT THE CENTER OF SAID SECTION 9, THENCE AIANG THE NORTH
LINE OF SAID SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 9 SOUTH 89° 51' 00"
EAST, 1074.82 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 12' 41' 14" WEST, 10.03 FEET TO
POINT ON A NON-TANGENT CURVE, CONCAVE SOUTHWESTERLY, HAVING A
RADIUS OF 540.00 FEET, A RADIAL BEARS NORTH 549 10' 38" EAST;
THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY THROUGH A CENTRAL ANGLE OF 20° 19' 22" AN ARC
LENGTH OF 191.54 FEET; TIiENCE SOUTH 15° 30~ 00" EAST, 179.43 FEET;
THENCE SOUTH 74° 30' 00" WEST, 70.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF
BEGINNING, ALSO BEING THE MOST EASTERLY CORNER OF THE LAND CONVEYED
BY DOCUMENT RECORDED MARCH 27, 1979 AS INSTRUMENT NO. 60805;
THENCE ALONG THE EASTERLY LINE OF LAST SAID LAND NORTH 15°. 30' 00"
WEST, 179.43 FEET TO THE BEGINNING OF A TANGENT CURVE, CONCAVE
SOUTHWESTERLY, HAVING A RADIUS OF 470.00 FEET;
THENCE NORTHWESTERLY THROUGH A CENTRAL ANGLE OF 07Q 01' 41" AN ARC
LENGTH OF 57.65 FEET, TO A POINT DESIGNATED AS POINT "A" TO WHICH
A RADIAL BEARS NORTH,67.° 28' 19" EAST, ALSO BEING AN INTERSECTION
WITH A NON-TANGENT CURVE, CONCAVE SOUTHWESTERLY, HAVING A RADIUS
OF 320.00 FEET, TO WHICH A RADIAL BEARS NORTH 61? 38' 28" EAST;
THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY, ALONG SAID 320.00 FOOT CURVE, THROUGH A
CENTRAL ANGLE OF 144 27' 18", AN ARC LENGTH OF 80.73 FEET;
THENCE SOUTH 13° 54' 14" EAST, 156.87 FEET TO THE POINT OF
BEGINNING.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City o£ Lake Elsinore adopted
a Resolution of Intention setting a time and place for public
hearing on said vacation; and
WIiEREAS, pursuant to that Resolution of Intention, the public
hearing has been held and evidence submitted;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Lake Elsinore as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitals are true and correct.
2. That based upon the evidence submitted at said public
hearinq, the City Council hereby finds that the street easement
described in the Resolution of Intention is unnecessary for present
or prospective public use.
is hereby ordered to be vacated.
4. That the City Clerk is hereby ordered to record this
Resolution of Vacation in the Riverside County Recorder's Office.
