RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, CERTIFYING
ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENTS FOR OAK GROVE EQUITIES
(ELSINORE CITY CENTER).
WHEREAS,' there has been an application by Oak Grove
Equities (Elsinore City Center), which consists of a 49.2 acre
Commercial Specific Plan, for general commercial uses, with 6.6
acres of manufactured slopes, 4.2 acres of major roads and a
Future Use Area of 3.8 acres, located at the southeast corner
of Grape Street and Railroad Canyon Road; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has previously reviewed
the EIR and has recommended that the City Council (1) certify
that the EIR has been prepared in accordance with the
requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act and
the City's CEQA Guidelines; and (2) approve the Specific Plan
for the Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the EIR prepared in
accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, and
has considered the information contained therein and in the
other documents referred to therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that:
The City Council hereby certifies that the EIR has
been prepared in accordance with the requirements of
the California Environmental Quality Act and the
City's CEQA Guidelines, and that the EIR is complete
and adequate in that it addresses all environmental
effects of the Project and all discretionary
approvals required therefore.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September,
1992, upon the following vote:
