A RESOLIITION OF THE CITY COONCIL
OF THE CITY OF LARE ELSINORE~
CALIFORNIA~ ACCEPTING GRANT FIINDS
AND AUTHORI2ING A CONTRACT FOR
THE PROVISION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT
SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elsinore Police Department has
been afforded the opportunity to participate with the California
Hiqhway Patrol and cities of Temecula and Murrieta, in a proqram to
provide DOI checkpoints and enforrer.ent; and
iaHEREAS, this pr~a~~m ~il' provide substantial benefit to
tha City of lake elsinore and ~o~re thoroughly address the concerns
associated with DUI off.enses;
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT FESOLVED~ that the L81ce E1siAOie
City Council hereby accepts the sub2e~t grant funfls and suthorizes
the execution of appropriate contracts and documentation required
to these funds and participate in this cooperative effort.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
