A RESOLUTION OF THE CTTY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE ESTABLISHING
PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON CERTAIN STREETS
NEAR ELSINORE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
WHEREAS, Secfion 10.40.020, of the Lake Elsinore Municipal Code provides for the
establishment of Parking Restricflons on certain streets by resolution of the Ciry Council; and,
WHEREAS,a yellow loading zone has been established on Sumner Avenue from 40 feet
to 300 feet east of the east driveway to the main parldng lot of Elsinore Elementary School; and,
WHEREAS, a White Loading Zone located on Sumner Avenue between the driveways
to the main pazking lot of Elsinore Elementary School is not needed; and,
WHEREAS, a remainder amount of Yellow Loading Zone located on Sumner Avenue
from 400 feet east of the east driveway to Langstaff Street is no longer needed; and,
WHEREAS, School Pazldng Only has been removed on Lindsay Street; and,
WI~REAS, aYellow Loading Zone located on Langstaff Street is no longer needed; and,
WHEREAS, School Parking Only, 7 A.M. to 4 P.M. will be appropriate for the above
described azeas on Sumner and normal parking will be appropriate for the above describe areas
on Langstaff Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lake
Flsinore, hereby establishes School Parking Only, 7 A.M. to 4 P.M. and Normal Parldng zones
as follows:

Sumner Avenue South From the west school parldng lot driveway to
20 feet west of the east school parldng lot
driveway (between Lindsay Street and
Langstaff Street).
Sumner Avenue
Normal Parkine

South From 300 feet east of the east school
driveway on Sumner Avenue to Langstaff
Street.
West From Sumner Avenue to 200 feet south.
BE IT EURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Engineer is hereby d'uected to post and
maintain signs and\or painted mazldngs, as required by the Vehicle Code, at said locations.
