A RESOLUTION OF THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE VACATION OF CAMPUS WAY
FROM GRAHAM AVENUE TO HEALD AVENUE AND SEVERAL ALLEYS ON THE
ELSINORE MIDDLE SCHOOL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elsinore has deternuned that certain
street and alley right-of-way is no longer necessary to be utilized as public right-of-way, said
right-of-way being more particulazly described as follows:
CAMPUS WAY
THt1T THE PORTION OF CAMPUS WAY ABUTTING LOTS 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 AND 20
IN BLOCK 31 AND LOTS l, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 AND 19 IN BLOCK 32 AND THAT PORTION
ABUTTING TI~ ALLEYS IN SAID BLOCKS 31 AND 32 OF THE TOWN OF ELSINORE IN
THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE, COLTNTY OF RIVERSIDE, STATE OF CALIFO1tNIA AS
SHOWN ON A MAP ON FILE IN BOOK 6, PAGE 302 OF MAPS, SAN DIEGO COUNTY
RECORDS IN'Tf-IE OFFICE OF TF~ COUNTY RECORDER OF SAID RIVERSIDE COUNTY.
EX EPT THAT PORTION OF CAMPUS WAY LY1NG SOUT`H OF THE WESTERLY
PROLONGATION OF THE NORTH LINE OF THE SOUTH 10 FEET OF SAID LOT 6 IN

ALL ALLEYS LOCATED IN BLOCK 30 OF THE J.P. MII,LER'S RE-SUBDIVISION OF
BLOCKS 9 AND 30 OF THE TOWN OF ELSINORE IN THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE,
COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE, STATE OF CALIFOItNIA, AS SHOWN ON A MAP ON FILE IN
BOOK 11, PAGE 509, OF MAPS, SAN DIEGO COUNTY RECORDS IN THE OFFICE OF THE
COUNTY RECORDER OF SAID RIVERSIDE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Lake Elsinore desires to vacate said right-
of-way pursuant to the procedures set forth in the Streets and Highway_Code Section 8320, et
see."
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Lake Elsinore adopted Resolution of
Intention No. 97-19 setting a time and place for a public heazing on said vacation, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 97-19, the public hearing has been
held and evidence submitted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lake
Elsinore as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitals aze true and correct.
2. That based upon the evidence submitted at said public hearing, the City Council hereby
finds that the street and alleys described in this Resolution is unnecessary for present and
prospective use.
3. That the street and alley right-of-way more particularly described above is hereby ordered
to be vacated.
4. That the City Clerk is hereby ordered to record the Resolution of Vacation in the
Riverside County Recorder's Office.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this lOth day of June, 1997, by the
