A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCII, OF
THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE ESTABLISHING
NO PARKING ZONES ON CERTAIN STREETS
WHEREAS, Section 10.40A10, of the Lake Elsinore Municipal Code provides for the
establishment of No Parking Zones on certain streets by resolution of the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, Sumner Street is a local, residential street; and,
WHEREAS, Elsinore Elementary School is located on Sumner Street between Langstaff
Street and Lindsay Street, and;
WEEREAS, vehicles generated by the school park in front of 505 Sumner Avenue, a
~ residential home, blocking access to the home's driveway, mailbox, and trashcan, and;
WHEREAS, the resident and owner of said home requests no parking in front of the
residence in order to maintain access to the driveway, mailbox and trashcan, and;
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the designation ofNo Pazking zones are necessary
in this residential case to promote said access.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lake
Elsinore, hereby establishes certain No Parking Zones as follows:
NAME OF STREET SIDE OF STREET LOCATION OF NO PARKING ZONE
Sumner Street Nortn Side Fc: ? 0 feet on either side of the driveway
located at 505 Sumner Avenue.
Sumner Street North Side At the mailbox located at 505 Sumner Avenue
for 5 feet.
