A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCII.OF
THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE ESTABLISHING
NO PARHING ZONES ON CERTAIN STREETS
WHEREAS, Section 10.40.010, of the Lake Elsinore Municipal Code provides for the
establishment of No Parking Zones on certain streets by resolution of the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, Limited Street is a two-lane street with trauel lanes in both directions; and,
WHEREAS, Sporting events at Swich Matich Park may draw considerable crowds, and;
WHEREAS, Many vehicles driven to the sporting events pazk in the parking area at the
northeast corner of Langstaff Street and Limited Avenue, and;
WHEREAS, The occupants of said vehicles cross Limited Avenue at the crosswalk at the
intersection of Langstaff Street, and;
WHEREAS, Also vehicles park on the north side of Limited Avenue ne~ to said crosswalk,
and;
WHEREAS, Crosswalk lines-of-sight aze obscured by the parked vehicles on Limited
Avenue, and;
WHEREAS, It has been deternuned that the designation of a No Parking Zone in advance
of the crosswalk is necessary to promote public safety and crosswalk access.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lake
Elsinore, hereby establishes certain No Parking Zones as follows:
NAME OF STREET SIDE OF STREET LOCATION OF NO PARKING ZONE
Limited Street North Side For 50 feet on the nearside traffic approach of
the crosswalk at the intersection of Langstaff
Street and Limited Street.
