A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE ESTABLISHING
A CROSSWALK AND
NO PARKING ZONES ON CERTAIN STREETS
WHEREAS, Section 10.40.010, of the Lake Elsinore Municipal Code provides for the
establishment of No Parking Zones on certain streets by resolution of the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, a request for a crosswalk across Summerhill Drive at La Strada has been
received from the Lake Elsinore Unified School District; and
WHEREAS, Summerhill Drive is designate as an arterial street; and
WHEREAS, student pedestrians living east of Summerlull Drive must cross it when
walking to and from school and,
WHEREAS, it is deternrined that a mazked crosswalk should be installed across Summerhill
Drive at La Strada; and,
WHEREAS, it has been deternuned that the designation of No Parking zones 600 feet on
either side of the crosswalk on both sides of Summerhill Drive are necessary to provide adequate
crosswalk lines-of-sight to promote public safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lake
Elsinore, hereby establishes a crosswalk across Summerhill Drive at La Strada and certain No Parking
Zones as follows:
NAME OF STREET SIDE OF STREET LOCATION OF NO PARKING ZONE
Summerhill Drive East Side From 600 feet south of La Strada to 600 feet
north of La Strada.
Summerhill Drive West Side From 600 feet south of La Strada to 600 feet
north ofLa Strada.
