A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, CHANGING THE STREET NAME OF CASINO
DRIVE FROM DIAMOND DRIVE TO FRANKLIN STREET TO AUTO CENTER DRIVE
WHEREAS, the street known as Casino Drive exists in the City of Lake Elsinore,
California, and extends from Malaga Road to Franklin Street; and
WHEREAS, the change of the street name of a portion of said street is desirable as it is the
primary street serving existing and proposed auto dealerships and related businesses and will help
guide passing motorists to these businesses;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the foregoing recitals are true and correct.
2. That the 11~' day of September 2001 at 7:00 PM is hereby set as the time and date for a public
hearing on the matter of changing a portion of Casino Drive to Auto Center Drive.
3. The resolution of intention shall be published one (1) time per week for at least two (2) consecutive
weeks prior to said public hearing and shall be posted at least two (2) weeks prior to said hearing.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 14`h day of August 2001, by the following
vote:
