WHEREAS, this proposal is made pursuant to the Cortese-Knox Hertzberg Local Govemment Reorganization Act of 2000, Govetnment Code Section 57082; and WHEREAS, said annexation/detachment is entirely within the City Sphere of Influence. WHEREAS, the City Council has considered evidence presented by the Coaununity Development Department, and other interested parties at a meeting held on Mazch 27, 2001; WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to give its consent to the commencement of annexation/detaclunent proceedings. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCII. OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA. 1. That consent be and hereby granted for the commencement of annexation/detachment proceedings in accord with the Cortese-Knox Hertzberg Local Govemment Reorganization Act of 2000 for properties located along Hwy 74 whose boundaries are set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and 2.
