A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE,
CALIFO1tNIA, SUPPORTING THE PRESIDENT
AND COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF AND OUR
TROOPS IN THEIR MATTER OF DISARMING
SADDAM HUSSEIN.
WHEREAS, Americans have aiways risen to the need to protect our
freedom and security, as well as the freedom and secarity of nations around the world,
when a cleaz danger is demonstrated; and
WHEREAS, this Council supports the President and Commander-in-
Chief in his efforts to achieve disarmament in Iraq; and
WHEREAS, this Council supports the men and women serving in the
azmed forces and honors their commitment to our nation's safety and security; and
WHEREAS, there is an urgent need for genuine multilateral action to
eliminate weapons of mass desiruction in Iraq and worldwide;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Lake Elsinore, California, that the City Council hereby supports the President and
Commander-in-Chief and the men and women of the armed forces of the United States in
efforts to disazm Saddam Hussein and eliminate weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and
worldwide.
