ferred to as the party of the first part, and F. H. Bulot,
doing business as FRANOIS H. BULOT, :H:NGINEERS, of 9538
Brighton Way, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles County, California,

WHEREAS, it is oontemplated and is the intention of the
Ci ty of Elsinore to oarry through prooeedings for the con-
struction of an extension to its sanitary sewage oollection
system and the oonstruotion of an enlargement of its sewage
treatment plant and appurtenances, for the area included
within boundaries of said OitYJ and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that registered Civil Engi-
neers be appointed to perform the engineering service neo-
essary in the prepare. tion of fi eld surveys, engineering
designs, working and detailed drawings, specifioations and
detailed estimates of eonstruotion oosts based thereon;
all in aooordanoe with Chapter 47, California statutes of
1944 and rules and regulations issued thereunder.
NOW; THEREFORE, the City of Elsinore, Party of the
First Part, and Franoi s B. Bulot, Engineers, Party of the
Second Part, mutually agree that the Party of the Second
Part shall be employed to perform engineering services which
shall include the following:
1. Examine the existing sewer system and sewage treat-
ment plant facilities for the specifio purpose of asoertain-
ing their adequaoy; suoh examination being made to determine
the extent of the improvements to be covered by the plans
and specifications.
2. Mal(e all of the necessary field surveys of the pro-
posed sewer locations and present treatment plan site.
3. Based on the above information and other contribut-
ing factors, prepare an. engineering design of the proposed
improvements.
4. Prepare working and detailed drawings, specifioa-
tions and detailed estimates of construction costs.
5. Discuss the plans, specifications and estimates
with the City Counoil fo,r its advice and approval.
6. Discuss the plans and specifioations with the state
Department of Health for its comment with regard to a permit
to construct the improvements.
7. Prepare the necessary applications for state-aid

for planning in accordance wi th the reQuirements of the
state Department of Finance, under Chapter 47, St!:i,tutes
of 1~44.
FOR 'rHE ABOVE ITm.ffi (l) to (4) inclusive, the Party
of the First Part shall pay and the Party of the Second Part
shall recelve the sum of Four Thousand One Hundred Fifty
($4,150.00) Dollars, in the manner hereinafter described,
which sum shall represent the total cost of plans as that
term is defined in Chapter 47, statutes of 1~44 and the
rules and regulations issued thereunder. No further charge
shall be made by the Party of the Second Part for the work
performed under terms (5) to (7) inclusive.
The sum of Four Thousand One Hundred Fifty ($4,150.00)
Dollars hereinbefore mentioned shall be paid in the following
described manner:
Six (6) monthly progress payments of six
hundred dollars ($600.00) each; the first
payment becoming due and payable 30 days
after the date of this agreement. The
balance of five hundred fifty dollars
($550.00) shall become due on the comple-
tion and the acceptance of the engineering
plans by the City.
It is understood and agreed that the Party of the Second
Part shall retain the services of D. R. Crane, City Engineer,
,
doing private engineering practice at 122 W. Graham street,
Elsinore, California, who shall act as Resident Engi~eer.
It is further understood and agreed that the Party of
the Second Part is to commence the above work immediately
upon execution of this agreement and carry it forward with

maximum dispatch.
IN WITNESSWBEREOF, Party of the Second Part has exe-
cuted this Agreement and said City of Elsinore, as Party of
the First Part, has hereunto caused its name to be subscribed
by the 1~YOR and the CITY CLERK of the City of Elsinore there-
unto duly authorized by Resolution of the
