BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Elsinore, state of California, that the general prevailing
rate of ver diem wages in the City of Elsinore for the follow-
ing crafts and types of' workmen, is as follows:

The overtime rule establishing the rates for overtime and holiday work shall be
in accordance with the follmring:
Where a single shift is worked, eight hours of continuous emplo~nnent except for
lunch periods, shall constitute a days work beginning on Honday and through
Friday of each ,'leek. I.lIJhere work is required in excess of eight hours in anyone
day or during the interval from 5:~9 P.M. Friday and 7:00 A.M. Monday or on
holidays such ,vork shall be paid for at 1 1/2 time the basic rate of wages.
Holidays as herein referred to shall be deemed to be New Year1s Day, Decoration
Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Armistice Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas
Day. If any of the above holidays fall on Sunda~r, the Honday following shall
be considered a legal holiday.
