Home My WebLink AboutCC Reso No 1945-417 OITY OF RESOLUTION NO. 7/1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING :MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDI TURE OF l/~ OENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement has been presented to be entered into with the State of California in accord- ance with a project statement for expenditure of the 1/4 cent gas tax for the fiscal year 1946 allocated for streets of major importance other than State highways in the City of Ja.$l.no1"e and WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said agree- ment in full and is familiar with the contents thereof; THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the City of ElsInore that said project statement be and it is hereby adopted as the budget of proposed ex- penditures of the l/~ cent gas tax allocated for streets of major importance other than State highways, and said agreement be and the same is hereby approved and the mayor and the city clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, said agreement to be binding upon the City upon its execution by the authorized officials of the State. I We also call to your attention the fa.ct that the resolution of the City Council attaChed to each copy of this agreement has been signed by the mayor and city clerk, but the seal of the city does not appear, nor has the resolution been properly filled in.
