DATED• March 14 006 RE/~ Y, CITY CLERK CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE (SEAL) RESOLUTION NO. 2006-02 RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE OPERATING BUDGET OF THE LAKE ELSINORE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2006- 2007 WHEREAS, the Lake Elsinore Redevelopment Agency has a policy of adopting an annual operating budget to plan expenditures and to match anticipated revenues available in various Agency accounts in order to make the most efficient use of the Agency's limited resources for each fiscal year; and WHEREAS, the Lake Elsinore Municipal Code Section 3.04.010 defines the fiscal year as extending from July lst of each year to and including June 30th of the following year; and WHEREAS, on April 20, 2006 the Redevelopment Agency held a study session on its Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2006-2007 ("Operating Budget") to address concerns related to the revenues available, projected expenditures, and anticipated redevelopment projects within the Agency's established Project Areas; and WHEREAS, the proposed Operating Budget was prepared and submitted to the Redevelopment Agency at a public hearing on June 13, 2006, which date precedes the beginning of the 2006-2007 fiscal year; and WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency considered evidence and testimony presented at the public meeting on June 13, 2006, and reviewed the proposed Operating Budget in light of all of the information presented. NOW, THEREFORE, THE LAKE ELSINORE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOL~,OWS: SECTION 1. The Operating Budget is a balanced budget and is hereby approved and adopted as the budget of the Lake Elsinore Redevelopment Agency for the 2006-2007 fiscal year. SECTION 2. A copy of the Operating Budget hereby adopted and certified by the Agency Secretary, shall be filed with the Executive Director ar a designated representative, and a further copy so certified shall be placed and shall remain on CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 2006-02 PAGE 2 OF 2 file in the Office of the City Clerlc where it shall be available far inspection. Copies of the certified Operating Budget shall be made available for the use of departments, offices and agencies of the City of Lake Elsinore. SECTION 3. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELSINORE DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the portion of the principal, interest and other costs related to CFD 90-2 due ar coming due through June 30, 2006, be placed on the County Tax Rolls and be collected by the Riverside County Tax Collector, as provided for in Exhibit "A" (a summary of fixed charges).
