(Resolution ordering the work of closing up and vacating a
portion of Heald Avenue)
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Elsinore did on the
13th day of January, 1936, pass its Resolution No. 292, declar-
ing its intention to order the hereinafter described work to
be done; and
WHEREAS, notices of the passage of said Resolutio~
headed "Notice of Public Works", were duly and legally posted
along the line of said contemplated work or improvement in form
and manner as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of
Melvin Harmon who posted the same, now on file in the office of
the Clerk of said City, and showing that said posting was com-
pleted on the 15th day of January, 1936; and
WHEREAS, a copy of said notice was duly published for a
period of four weeks in the Elsinore Leader Press, a weekly
newspaper published and circulated in the City of Elsinore
as more fully appears by affidavit of J. F. Frishman on file
in the office of the City Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, all protests or objections presented have been
disposed of in time, form and manner as required by law, and
said Council has now acquired jurisdiction to order the pro-
posed work; and
WHEREAS, said proposed work is for the closing up of a
portion of Heald Avenue and it appears to said Council that
no assessment is necessary,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED by the Council of the City of
Elsinore,,, that the public interest and convenience requ~re,
and the said Council hereby orders to be done, the work of
closing up and vacating that certain portion of Heald Avenue
in said City described as follows, to-wit:

metes and bounds, commencing at the Northeast-
erly corner of Block 31 of the City of Elsinore I '," " I: '''',,{,>::~, ',"

line of Heald Avenue; thence West along the._"."'" ./
Northerly line of Blocks 31 and 32 of ~~'City

Mohr street; thence at right angles North 20 feet;
thence at right angles East on a line parallel
with the Southerly line of Heald Avenue to the
intersection with the Westerly line of Silver Street
extended; thence at right angles South along the
Westerly line of Silver Street extended to the
point of beginning.
in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No. 292, de-
claring the Intention of said Council to order said work to
be done in accordance with said Resolution of Intention.
I, C. J. Kalina, the City Clerk of the City of Elsinore,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of
said City of Riverside at its meeting held on the c/<a-7d'ay of
