A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF ELSINORE, RIVERSIIE
COUl-ITY, CALIFORNIA, SUBMITTING APPLICATION TO THE FEDERAL CIVIL WORKS AmINI5'IRATION
FOR RIVERSIlE COUNTY FOR THE APPROVAL BY THE FEDERAL CIVIL WORKS AlJUNISTRATION FOR
CALIFORNIA OF THE CIVIL WORKS ADMINISTRATION PROJECT DESCRIBED HEREIN; SETTING FORTH
THE FACT THAT THE APPLICATION IS MADE SUBJECT TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE
FEDERAL CIVIL WORKS AII!INISTRATION AND 'l'HIiJ FACTS UPON WHICH THE CITY COUNCIL RELIES
TO JUSTIFY THE mOJEOT:
WHEREAS the Federal Government has made available funds to be expended on
certain public works projects in the state of California and its political sub-
divisions through the Federa.l Civil Works Administration for California;

State of California does hereby resolve, determine and declare a.s follows:-
1. '!'.hat application be and it is hereby made to the Federal Civil Works
Administration for Riverside County for the a.pproval 'OJ the Federa.l Civil Works
Administration for California. of the following project subject to the rules and
regula.tions of the Federal Civil Works Administration:-
" Grading and improvement of the following described streets, with
surfaceing of gravel and bitumuls oil, and cobble stone gutters-
Heald Ave from Spring 8t to Kellogg St. Langstaff 5t from Sumner 5t
to Graham Ave t Poe 5t from Heald Ave to Graham Ave and Lind say 5t
from Heald Ave to Graham Ave.
2. That the above project has NOT been submitted to the Public Works
Administra.tion. or has been submitted and refused, and cannot be financed under the
terms of Circular No. 2 of the National Industrial Recovery Act.
3. That the above projeet would not and could not otherwise be financed
or carried forward by the City of Elsinore, and tha.t it will not take the place in
any way of any normal functbn of govermnentin said city.
4. That the above project is of general public benefit. economically sound
and of permanent value.
5. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to
certify upon the application contained herein to the correctness of the plans and
specifications and the estimates of labor, materia.ls, supplies and equipment .equired.
6. That the City of Elsinore had sufficient funds to furnish the money,
equipnent and other ma.terials and services of value set forth under Item III of the
application and upon approval of the project will furnish all of the items listed.
1. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passa.ge and adoption of this
resolution and forward three copies to the Federal Civil Works Administration for
Riverside County.

City of Elsinorep California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of said City at its regular
meeting held on the 21th day of November, 1933 by a vote as above stated.
