fact that we have in our midst many heads of families without
employment, and with no means of support for the coming Winter

Q.i'the t'a.ct.thatliving. costsa.nd rents are the lowest in a gen-
eration or more, it appears to the members of the City Council of
Elsinore that the employees of the Public schools who have no
local tax obligations would gladly share some of the burdens of
their less fortunate neighbors, therefore~
BE IT RESOLVED; that the City Counsil convey to these em-
ployees of the local schools the hope that they apportion the
amount of one days salary per month to the Street fund of the
City to be distributed in wages to the unemployed of the City fer
the coming six months, and be it further resolved that a copy of
this resolution be mailed to each teacher of the City schools
with the hope that a favorable response may be received.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
adopted by the City Council of the City of Elsinore, State of
California, at a regular meeting held on the 12th day of
Octob-er, 1931.
