1.03 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

PART 3 EXECUTION
3.01 EXAMINATION
A. Verify wall openings are ready to receive work of this Section.
B . Beginning of installation means acceptance of existing conditions.
3.02 INSTALLATION
A. Install panels, track, and hardware in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
B . Use anchorage devices to securely attach frame assembly and track to structure.
C. Align assembly plumb and level, free of warp or twist. Maintain assembly dimensional tolerances,
aligning with adjacent work.
D. Install hardware using templates provided.
E. Install perimeter sealant, backing materials, and installation requirements in accordance with Section
07900.
F. Adjust operating hardware.
G . Install hardware using templates provided, and in accordance with ANSI 117.1 requirements for
hardware. Refer to Section 08710 for cylinders and Installation requirements.
1. Cylinder and Thumbturn: 48 inches above finished floor.
3.03 CLEANING
A. Wash down exposed surfaces using a solution of mild detergent In warm water, applied with soft,
clean wiping cloths. Take care to remove dirt from corners. Wipe surfaces clean.
B . Remove excess sealant by moderate use of mineral spirits or other solvent acceptable to sealant
manufacturer.
