With respect to the conditions of approval regarding thr above
referenced plan. the Fire Depair'IA- wnt r-ecuwwww- ids the follsming
fire protection measures be provided in accardanr_e with Riverside
County Ordinances and /or recognized fire protection standards:
1.. The Fire Department is required to set a minimum `ire flow
fur the rem--%del or construction Of all commercial buildings
using the procedure established in Ordinance 546.
FIRE ALARM CLASSROOM A UNIT F ONLY
2„ A statt fire mar-shal-- appfi -oved and listed fire alarm system
conforming to the California Electrical. Code shall be pro-
vided for all Group E Occupancies with an occupant i nad of
50 or more persons, kll n more tha+i one fire alarm control
unit is used, they shall use interconnected and shall operate
all indicating devices. Group E Occupancies with an occupant;
load of 50 persons or less shall have an early- marning
device as approved by the fire authority having jurisdic-
tion. Every public, private or pares hial school building
having an occupant lcad of 50 or more students Mr more than
one clams _sroM shall have; a fire alarm system using the
California Uniform Fire, Code Signal outlined in the Califor-
nia Educatimn Code,, Section 32000 to 32004. (EXCEPTION: A
one -rosin building having an occupant load of less than 50
persons.
Z. Prior to installation of the alarm system plans must be
submitted to Riverside County Fire Department for approval.

the date of this letter. A reasonable degrve of fire safety
exits.
6. Comply with Title 19 of the California Administrative Code,

7. Prior to final for occupancy the apoiicant shall prepare and
submit to the Fire Department for approval, a site plan
designating required fire lames with appropriate lane paint-
ing and /or signs.
8. Install portable fire extinguishers with a minimum rating of
2A -10BC and signage. Fire Extinguishers located in public
areas shall be in recessed cabinets mounted 48" (inches.) to
center above fluor level with maximum 4" (inch) projection
from the wall. Contact Fire Department for proper placement
of equipment prior to installs, ion,
