Thank you for submitting the above-referenced application requesting Zoning Compliance Plan Check Approval
to convert a portion of the existing 498 sq. ft. garage and construct an 80 sq. ft addition to create a 576 sq. ft.
attached Accessory Dwelling Unit on a .19 acre site in the R-1 - Single Family Residential District . (APN: 387-
130-039)
We have reviewed your application for compliance with applicable city zoning requirements and design
development standards. This letter is our determination that your application meets applicable zoning
requirements and design development standards and is hereby APPROVED pursuant to Section 17.415.060.0
of the Lake Elsinore Municipal Code.
Most construction projects will often require the following permits and approvals prior to beginning construction
activities:
• Building Permit (City Building & Safety Division)
• Grading Permit (City Engineering Division)
• Lot Line Adjustments, Parcel Mergers, Dedications, WQMP (Engineering Division)
• Water Meters and Sewer Connections (Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District)
• Septic System (Riverside County Department of Environmental Health)
City building and engineering permit applications may be submitted online using the Citizen Self-Service Portal
at http://www.lake-elsinore.org/city-services/online-services/citizen-self-service-portal.
It's strongly encouraged that you coordinate with any other public agencies and/or utility providers to understand
additional requirements affecting your project.
