Natalie,
Have the field assignments been applied for and awarded yet? Also I understand that neither
you nor Liam are LE residents. Who on your management team is a resident and what position
do they hold?

Subject: Field Allocations Designation Appeal for City SC
Good Afternoon Bob,
I hope you are having a great weekend and that this message finds you well.
We are officially beginning the Spring field allocations process with the City of Lake Elsinore, so I am
following up to confirm next steps to pursue the appeal process we spoke about for the two year
probationary non-resident status that City SC Southwest was sanctioned with by the community
services department this past August.
As you are aware, City SC was put on probation as a result of 13 mistakes on our rosters. The
community services department stated there was no appeal process. When we met in the fall, you
said was not accurate and that there had to be an appeal process, beginning with meeting with our
elected official.
Field allocations are paramount to the success and sustainability of our programs, and a key factor for
families in choosing where they play soccer. We are appealing the probation to restore fair and
impartial allocations for City SC based on our numbers and residency and to advocate for fair,
impartial and proportional access to premium facilities such as Alberhill and Canyon Hills to benefit all
residents— regardless of where they choose to play.
We did have the pleasure of connecting with Rebecca at the County and Coach Izzy to explore
opportunities at Lakeland Village. Thank you for helping us make these connections— Coach Izzy was
incredibly gracious with his time and it was truly a pleasure to meet him. We toured the Lakeland
Village facility and had an extensive conversation about how we could potentially work together. Our
organizations share very similar values and philosophies, but unfortunately our field usage needs are
also very similar. The lack of lights limits the actual field time that can be spread around and the set
up at the facility is not conducive to flipping between soccer and baseball as would be required by
both groups. While there was mutual interest in trying to work together, we arrived at the conclusion
that it unfortunately would not work for either side.
We remain open to exploring additional opportunities for field space, but ultimately, securing fields
through the City of Lake Elsinore and their allocations process remains our most important avenue.
Please let us know next steps to pursue the appeal process.
Thank you again for your time and guidance in helping us navigate this process. We look forward to
partnering with the City of Lake Elsinore as we begin another season.
Sincerely,
Natalie
