Please note that the existing crematorium use on the property is considered legal non-conforming use.
While a crematorium is not permitted land use within the current zoning designation, the operation is
permitted to remain because it was lawfully established prior to amendments to the General Plan and
zoning land use designations. As such, the use may continue in its existing form, subject to applicable
nonconforming use provisions of the municipal code(LEMC 17.164.100).
