Subject: Revocation of Field Allocations for So Cal Elite Football Club
Dear Mr. Calderon and So Cal Elite FC,
I am writing on behalf of the City of Lake Elsinore to address a matter of utmost importance regarding
the field allocations granted to So Cal Elite Football Club.
After a thorough review of our field allocation policy, specifically Section VIII 1. Field Use/Restrictions, it
has come to our attention that So Cal Elite Football Club has violated the terms outlined in the policy.
The specific violation is as follows:
Section VIII 1. Field Use/Restrictions: "Leagues may not sublet fields or snack bars; in doing so,
may face termination of use immediately upon confirmation."
It has been confirmed that So Cal Elite Football Club has entered into a partnership with the Southwest
Super League and is actively charging rental fees for field usage within the City of Lake Elsinore. This
action is in direct violation of our established policies, and as a result, the City has no choice but to
revoke the field allocations granted to your club.
The charging of rental fees for field usage, is a serious breach of the trust and compliance expected from
organizations utilizing our facilities.Such actions undermine the integrity of the field allocation system
and compromise the fair and equitable access to our facilities by other community members.
In light of these violations, we regret to inform you that effective February 1, 2024, all field allocations
granted to So Cal Elite Football Club within the City of Lake Elsinore are hereby revoked. Your club is
expected to cease any further use of the allocated fields beyond the specified date.
We understand the importance of organized sports in our community and encourage all organizations to
abide by the established policies to ensure a fair and safe environment for all participants.Should So Cal
Elite Football Club wish to discuss this matter further or seek clarification, please feel free to contact me
or Johnathan O. Skinner, Director of Community Services.
