COMPACTION TESTING Field density tests were taken in accordance with the ASTM DES: D - 15S6 - 64. Field density tests were taken at approximately 0. 5 to 1. 0 feet below the surface area. Maximum dry density was obtained- by using the laboratory procedure ASTM DES : D - 15S7 - 70 . Field testing for compaction was started after the completion of the proposed building pad. GENERAL GRADING CONSIDERATIONS 1 . Any additional grading must be done under the supervision of a soil engineer. 2. Ponding of water should not be allowed anywhere on the building pad. A minimum gradient of one percent should be maintained away from the found;3tion and slopes at all times . 3. The faces of cut and fill slopes should always be maintained against errosion , either by effective planting , or by installation of non-errosive materials when necessary. 18040 Grand Ave. , Lake Elsinore, CA 92330 (714) 559-40661678-4300 PROJECT #: C-869E-82 ACA►DE Y sops 'r MAY 21982 PAGE COMPACTION TEST RESULTS MAX. This conclusion is "h:iscd on field ohservations , laboratory analysis , and the compaction test results at the ap- proximate locations indicated on the plot plan. The field compaction results , obtained through field testing, are above 90 percent of the maximum dry density. Our findings and recommendations contained in this report are based on the results of field investigation, laboratory testing , and generally accepted engineering practices , and are based on the assumption that the soil condition: will remain consistent throughout the area, with those enclosed in this report. No other warranty , expressed or implied . If any variations in the soil condition exist or occur durir:l; ..he development of this site , this office should be notified immediately so that supplemental recommendations may be provided .
