WHEREAS on tl~ 8th day of December a certain resolu-

tion #/Is,.6 was passed by this board authorizing the issuance of
serial funding bonds of the City of Elsinore m the tota.l amount
of $6000.00;
NOW THEREFORE be it resolved, that pursuant to sa.id
resolution the Pr~sident of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Elsinore is hereby authorized to execute for and in behalf of
the said City twelve bonds in words and f.tgures substantially in
the following form:

Know all meD by these presents that the City of Elsi-
nore acknowledges itself indebted and for value received hereby
promises to pay to the bearer hereof the sum of Five Hundred
Dollars in lawful money of the United States of America on the
15th day of December 192~ together with interest on said sum
fI'om the date hereof until paid at the rate of 5l per centum
per annum, payable semi-annually on the 15th days of June and
December of each year, upon presentation and surrender of the
inteI'est coupons hereunto attached as they severally become due.
Both ,~1ncipal and interest are payable at the office of the
City Treasurer of the City of Elsinore at the City Ball in said
City of Elsinore, State of California.
This bond is one of a series of 12 bands numbered
consecutively fI'om one to twelve, inclusive, each of a like
amount, becoming due on the 15th day of December of each succeed-
ing year for twelve years, and isissued by the City of Elsinore
foI' the purpose of funding a certain judgment against the said

City of Elsinore rendered by the Superior Court of the State of
California in and for the County of Riverside, and in full con-
formity with, and under and by virtue of, and in pursuance of a
certain act of the Legislature of the State of California entit-
led "An act authorizing the ICommon Council, Board of Trustees,
or other governing body of any incorporated city or town other
than cities of the first class to refund its indebtedness, to
issue bonds theref€lr and to prOVide for the payment of the sane."
approved March 9, 1897 and the amendments thereto; and it is
hereby certified that all the requirements of law have been
fully complied with by the proper officers il1l issuing this bond
and that the total amount of this bond issue does not exceed the
limit prescribed by the constitution or statutes of the State of
California.
In testimony whereof the Board of Trustees of the
City of Elsinore have caused this bond to be signed by their
president, countersigned by the Oity Treasurer and attested by
the City Clerk, this 15th day of December 1926.

countersigned and sold in accordance with law and the provisions
of this resolution and said resolution # /~6~ of December 8,
1926, that said bonds become valid obligations of the City of

the firs t part shall not be called upon to make any i.mprovements
or repai.rs whatsoever upon the said premises, or any part thereof
but the said party of the second part agrees to keep the same in
good order and condition at its own expense.
And it is agreed" the. t if any rent shall be due and
unpaid, or if default shall be meEie in a.ny of the covenants here-
in contained, then it shall be lawful for the sa id party of the
first part to re-enter the said premises and to remove all per-
sons therefrom.
And that a.t the expir'aticn of the said term or any
sooner determination of this lease, the said party of the
second part will quit and surrender the premises hereby demised,
in as good order and condition as reasonable use and wear thereof
will P9rmit, damages by the elements excepted. And if the party
of the second part shall hold over the said term with the con-
sent, expressed or implied, of the party of the first part,
such holding shall be construed to be a tenancy only from month
to month, and said second party willpay the rent as above stated
for such term as it may hold the same.
