"(4 IlESCLUTICN OF 'EHE BC~P.D OF TRUSTh:ES OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE,
WHEREAS it appears to thi8 board that The Mariposa
Company, a corporation, is the owner in fee and entitled to the
possession of all that certain real property situate in the Oity
of Elsinore, County of RiVerside, State of California, and more
particula~ly described as tollows; to-wit:
All that portion of Warm Springs Park Reserved
lying between the northerly line of Limited
Avenue extended and southerly line of Graham
Avenue extended, Riverside Oounty, California,
as shown on the Original Townsite Map of said
Oity of Elsinore, on file tn the office of the
Oounty Recorder of the Oounty of San Deigo, State
of Oalifornia, in Book 6 of Maps, at page 302
thereof; containing four and three-fourths acres
of land; together with the tenements, heredita-
ments and appurtenan ces thereunto belonging,
or in anYWise appertaining, and the reservation
and reservations, remainder and remainders, rents,
issues and profits thereof.
and
That the Oity of Elsinore did on the 28th day of
June, 1922 purchase the title b~ the State of California to said
property at public auction for delinquent taxes and peceive a
deed therefor dated June 29,1922, executed by C. R. Stibbens as

Tax Collector of the County of Riverside which deed was reco~ed
July 14,1922in the office of the County Recorder of the County
of Riverside, State 01' Oalifornia, in 571 of Deeds at page 290
thereof; and
Tha t said 011:y of Elsinore has expended in the pur-
chase of said tax title and in the payment of" taxes on said pro-
~rty since June 28,1922 the sum of $169.21; and
That the proceedings leading up to the issuance of
said deed are defective and said deed would in all probability be
declared void by any competent tribunal;
That the said The Mariposa Oompany, a co~poration,
has of'fered to conv~'1 to the said Oity of Elsinore, by good and
sufficient grant .deed a~~ that portion ot" the property herein-
above described lying northerly of a line drawn parallel with the
southerly line of Graham Avenue extended and distant 200 feet

southerly therefrom and to pay to the said City of Elsinore, the
sum of $700.00 in cash in exchange for a quit-claim deed to
the property first hereinabove described.
NOW THEREFORE, it is resolved, that the Mayor and.
City Clerk 'be and they are here'by autborized to make and execute
a good and sufficient quit-claimndeed in the name and on 'behalf
of the City of Elsinore, a municipal corporation, to The Mari-
posa Company, a corporation, conveying 81\1ch~title as the City
of Elsinore may have to the propert7 first above descri'bed and
to deliver the same upon receipt of the sum of $700 and a good
and sufficient grant deed to the northerly 200 feet of said
property~ conveying the title to the same free and clear of all
encumbrances except taxes for the fiscal year 1926-27.
