A RESOLUTION OF TIDJJ BOARD OF TPUSTEiES OF frEE CITY
OF ELSINORE, C.A.LIFORNIA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION
TO ORDER CERTAIN WORK TO BE DONE ON SPRING STREET,
A~TD orllRER STREETS, HI 'rEE CITY OF ELSINORE.

The Board of Trustees of the City of Elsinore do
resolve as follows:

SECTION 1 - That the public interest and convenience
require, and that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees
of the City of Elsinore to order the following work and im-
provement to be done within said City, to.wit:
(a) That oertain portions of the following named streets.
in said City, lying within the limits next hereinafter defined,
be improved by certain grading, the construction of certain
asphaltic concrete base three inches (3") thick, and Willite
process asphaltio conorete wearing surface pavement two inches
(2") thick, the construction of oement conorete sidewalks, the

oonstruction of oement concrete curbs, together with appur-
tenances and appurtenant work at the places, to the extent and
in the manner indioated on the Plans hereinafter mentioned, and
in further aocordanoe with Speoifications hereinafter referred
to, viz:
Bath street, from the West line of Main street
to the East line of Spring street; Pottery street from the West
line of Spring Street to the oenter line of Langstaff street;
Flint street from the West line of Spring street to the East
line of Riley street; Graham Avenue from the West line of
Spring street to the West line of Langstaff street, and Silring
street, between the South line of Lake Shore Drive, and the
North line of Mintho~n Street;

(b) ThataJfive foot twe:mve gauge galvanized oorrugated
pipe cUlvert, with certain cement concrete appurtenances ana
appurtenant work be constructed on Pottery street at a location

within the aforesaid limits of said street as shown by the plans.
(c) All of the work described in this Resolution shall
be done with referenoe to the grad.es as shown upon and in further
accordance with Plans Nos. 128 to 134 both inclusive, and
Profiles NOi. 184 to 190 both inclusive, on file in the Office
of the City Engineer of the City of Elsinore, and in further
accordance with Specifications Ilo. 8 for the grading', the con-
struction of culverts, the construction of cement concrete
sidpalks, cement concrete curbs, and the construction of a
pavement consisting of an asphaltic concrete base and a Willite
process asphaltic concrete vvearing su.rface, all of which
specifications are on file in the Office of the City Clerk
of the City of Elsmnore.
All of the above d.escriptjonsset forth in this
Resolution are general only and referel1ceto the said Plans,
Profiles and S~ecifications is he:reby made for a full, complete
and exact description of the work to be done.
Refe.rence is further made to the 1,ilTillite Process
I.icense TUxture Agreement of the Cal ifornia INilli te Company,
filed in the Office of the City Clerk of said City on March
a, 1926, dated March a, 1926.
SECTION 2. Said Board of Trustees does hereby de-
termine and declare that the said proposed work and improve:ment
is of more than local or oi'dina.ry public benefit and said
BOard hereby makes the expense of said work and improvement
chargeable upon a district, which said district said Board
hereby declares to be the district benefited by said work
and improvement and to be assessed to pay the costs and ex-
penses thereof, to-wit:
All that portion of the City of Elsinore inQicateQ
and shown upon a Map on file in the office of the City Engineer
of said City and designated as "Assessment :District Map of Spring

2 Map the exterior boundary line of the district to be assessed
3 is colored in red and which map shows specifically the lots,
4 blocks and parcels of land to be assessed.
5 Reference is hereby made to said Map for a further,
6 full and complete description of the Assessment District and the
7 property to be assessed. rl~he said Map shall govern for all
details as to the extent of the assessment district.
In a general way, the said assessment district
embraces property lying on both sides of the different streets
to be improved, but does not exceed two hundred and fifty feet
from the nearest portion of the improvement herein provided for.
SECTION 0. IT IS BERI~BY RESOLVED AND DETERMHlED
that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments of twenty-
five Dollars ($25.00) or more. and to bear 'interest at the
rate of seven per cent ('7~/S) per annum. payable semi--annually
will be issued to represent the cost and expenses of said work
in the manner provided by the Improvement Act of 1911. as
amended.. Said. serial bonds shall extend over a period of
nine years from the second day of January next succeeding the
fifteenth day of the next November following their date.
SECTION 4. Notice is hereby given that on the 29th
day of March, 1926, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., in the
Council Chamber of the Board of Trustees in the City Hall. of
the City of Elsinore, any and. all persons having any objections
to the said proposed work or improvement, or to the district

to be assessed, may appear before the said Board of Trustees

and show cause why said improvement should not be carried
out in accordance with this Resolution.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk of the City of Elsinore
shall cause this Resolution of Intention to be publishe~ twice
in the "lJake Elsinore Valley Pressll a weekly newspaper of

general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the
Oity of Elsinore, and hereby designated for that purpose by the
Board of Trustees of the City of Elsinore. there being no
daily newspaper published in said City.
SECTION 6. The street Superintendent of the City
of Elsinore shall cause to be posted notices of said improvement
in the manner required by law.
SECTION 7. All the herein proposed work shall be
done and the said bonds issued in pursuance of the provisions
of an Act of the Legislature of the state of California, desig-
nated and known as the Itlmprovement Act of 1911", and approved
April 7, 1911, and amendments thereto.
SECTIOl'lI 8. All pending assessment proceedings for
grading, paving and the construction of culverts, curbs and
sidewalks upon the said streets or any portion thereof are
hereby repealed.
Passed and adopted the 8th day of March. 1926.
