A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING iu"fD DECLARING THA.T TEE PUBLI C INTEREST AND NECESSITY DEMAND THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION AND COW1PLETION BY SAID CITY OF A CERTAIN 1ITIT~ICIPAL I1ITROvru~~T. THE BOARD OF TRuSTEES OF THE CITY OF ELSINORE, DO RESOLVE AND DETERIflNE AS FOLLOWS: ~~~~"\~ That the public interen3t and necessi ty demand the acquisi tion, construction and completion by the Oi ty of Elsinore of a certain municipal improvement, to-wit: A system of works for the treatment and disposal of sewage from said City of Elsinore, including the acquisition of lands for sewer farm purposes, the acquisition, construction and completion of a treatment plant and a sludge bed for treating said sewage, the rec onstruction of the outfall sewer pipe line of said city, the reconstruction of the sewage pumping plant of said city, the acquisition of a sewage pump and the acquisition of ~achinery, equipment, apparatus, materials, lands, easements ~ rights of way and all other works and property necessary therefor; that said municipal improvement is necessary and convenient to carry out the objects, purposes and powers of said city; that the estimated cost of said muniCipal improvement is the sum of Twenty-eight thousand dollars ($28,000.00) , and that the cost of said municipal improvement is and will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income and revenue of said City of Elsinore. liD OPTED AND (Seal) Attest4l1'~~ City Clerk of t e City of Elsinore, California. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOABD 0:B1 TRUSTEES Olp THE CITY OF ELSINOREt CALIPORHIA, STATUm THE RESULT OF TF...E CANVASS OF THE ELECTION RETURNS OF THE SPECIAL BOND ELECTION HELD APRIL 14, 1921+-'" *~,***** WHEP~AS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Elsinore by Ordinance No. 151 duly called and provided for the holding of a special election to be held in said City on April 14, 1924, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of said City the proposition set forth in said ordinance and hereinafter stated; illld WHEREAS, notice of said election was duly given in time, form and manner as provided by law and said election was on said date held at the City Hall in said City between the hours of eight o'clock A.M. and six olclock P.M., and said election was duly and legally held and conducted and the votes cast thereat canvassed and the returns thereof made at the time and in the manner and form provided by law; and vVHEREAS. on this the 21st day of Aprilt 1924, the first Monday a:fter said election, at 7:30 P.M., said Board of' Trustees of' said City of Elsinore have duly a.ssem- bled in regular meeting at the usual place of meeting of said Board ii:~"the City Hall in said CitYt and have canvassed said retur~.>t5ifsai&. election: -1- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of said City of Elsinore that a special election, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of said City the said proposition hereinafter set forth, was duly called and ordered to be held on April 14, 1924. by said Ordinance No. 151 and that hotice of said election was duly given in time, form and manner as provided by law, and. that said election was on said April 14, 1924, dul;>r and legally held and cond.ucted and the votes cast therea.t canvassed and the returns thereof made at the time and in the form and manner required by law; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proposition set forth in said Ordinance No. 151 and voted upon at said election was: Shall the City of Elsinore incur a bonded indebtedness of Twenty-eight thousand dollars ($28,000) for the purpose of the acquisition,construc- tion and completion by the City of Elsinore of a certain municipal im- provement, to-wit: A system of works for the treatment and disposal of sewage from said City of ,Elsinore, including the acquisition of lands) for sewer farm purposes, the ac- quisition, construction and completion of a treatment plant and a sludge bed for treating said sewage, the recon- struction of the outfall sewer pipe line of said City, the reconstruction of the sewage pumping plant of said City, the acquisition of a sewage pump and the acquisition of machinery, equipment, apparatus, materials, lands, easements, rights of way, and all other works and property necessary therefor? -2- , ~. , and BE IT J!'URTHER RESOLVED th~lt from said returns it appears and this Board finds that the whole nmnber of votes cast in said City of Elsinore at said election was 3 j b; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED from said retUl'ns it appears and this Board finds that at said election the total number of votes cast in Consolidated Voting Precinct A was 3g~ that the number of votes ca.st therein for said proposition was ~ ~ S ; that the number of votes cast therein against said proposition was b 11 t and.
