1. Painting is a C33 license. Please confirm the license requirement for this painting
project.
Required License C33, B and A are confirmed
2. What is the engineer's estimate?
The City does not have an engineer's estimate.
3. Can you confirm that we need to paint all rooms and corridors in all 4 floors?
Yes confirmed
4. Can you provide a finish schedule for each room, corridor and stair which shows
what need to be painted: walls, ceilings, doors, etc.?
All walls and ceilings need to be painted.
5. Can you provide a list of applicable colors and their locations?
Colors have not been selected yet. However, finish will be satin (walls), ceiling
white (ceiling), semi-gloss (bathroom ceilings)
6. Can you provide a painting specification with the required paint material?
Latex (Shermin Williams, Visita, Dunn Edwards, Benjamin Moore, Valspar, Behr)
7. Can you provide the Start and End date for the project?
Estimated Start End of March, Finish first of April
8. Is painting contractor to provide level 5 finish, or is painting contractor to only
provide 1 coat primer 1 coat paint as noted per specs?Also, is only drywall
surfaces to be painted or is other items to be painted such as trims, windows, doors
etc?Also, is the aluminum store front staircase area or any other aluminum
storefront not highlighted in blue to be painted (some of exterior walls that seem to
be aluminum storefront were not highlighted in blue)?
Drywall will be smooth finish by others.
