Hello,
My name is John Soto. I am a family man,
business owner, investor and long time friend
and work associate of Jason Devor. In our over
a decade of working together, I have learned
that Jason is a man of integrity and honesty,
even when those qualities are not convenient or
popular. I believe it is his level head, how he
accepts information and his commanding, yet
likeable presence that allows him to be a good
friend, successful business man, and affective
guide.
Jason loves his city, The City of Lake Elsinore.
His enthusiasm for the city is contagious. His
knowledge of the city is forever growing and his
belief in its success is inspirational. Several
years ago when Jason moved to Lake Elsinore, I
asked him “Why didn’t you move to Ladera
Ranch? (A city in south Orange County.) I said,
"It’s a beautifully manicured town, home to many
budding business types like you!”
His reply was definate. “Lake Elsinore is better!”
He said. He referenced the City, his newly
purchased home and his neighbors.
Since that day, I have helped Jason construct
two gazebos at his home. I have attended
several local events and purchased 2 investment
properties in the downtown neighborhood. I
haven’t moved to the City of Lake Elsinore yet,
but some day, who knows? It's a beautiful place
with a lot of potential.
Jason Devor is a quality person and a positive
addition to any team. He loves his city and has
all the qualities needed to make a success of
whatever part he is tasked to oversee or
develop.

genuine care for his clients and community make him an outstanding choice for the District 4
appointment.

Good Afternoon,
Please Include My Comments for Tonight's Council Meeting:
As a 30 year resident of Lake Elsinore and a Elsinore High School graduate, I have seen
and experienced growth and leadership changes of the City. I want to recommend Jason
Devor for City Council of Lake Elsinore. I have known Jason for over eight years and the
first event that I went to of his, was called the "I Love America Festival" and it was hosted
at the Outlet Center where he brought community together to celebrate America and the
City of Lake Elsinore. Since then I have seen this man continue to put his community first
through sponsorships, private promotion and straight strenuous labor and grit. He
continues to put himself out there to support the community, sometimes at a personal and
professional financial loss because he believes in community first over profit or self
promotion. Jason has been a man of integrity and consistency as long as I've known him;
even through life's challenges. Jason is a proven leader and proponent of the goodwill of
the people and is not afraid to defend this City. It is for these reasons and many more that I
support and believe that Jason Devor is the Right man for a position on the City Council for
the City of Lake Elsinore. Thank you very much for your time and respectful engagement.

Can you please share this as public comment with the Council tonight? I'm sorry for the late
notice. I thought it was sent already.

Dear Mayor and Members of the City Council. As a 38 year resident of Lake Elsinore, and
retired City Clerk who formerly served in leadership positions with the statewide California
Municipal Clerks Association (President in 2018-2019) and CalCities (Department Chair), I
wish to formally support the appointment of Jason Devor for the District 4 Council seat. I
have known Jason since he moved to Lake Elsinore, and I believe he possesses the
commitment and drive to effectively represent the residents, and contribute to the community
overall.
He is an adept business man, something that will come in handy in term sof economic
development, and he truly cares about the community. He is also committed to serving
locally, and not looking for higher office. I think this is important. That means he'll put our
needs before other, outside interests.
Please strongly consider appointing Jason to this vacant Council seat. I know he will serve
our community well and be a great representative for Lake Elsinore.
