RKA proposes the following compensation schedule to the City of Lake Elsinore to provide Building & Safety
services as outlined in this proposal.
PROPOSED FEE STRUCTURE
Plan Check Review Fees 68% of plan check fee
Includes (1) initial review and (2) rechecks for a total of (3) overall reviews
The hourly rate schedule below applies to the following projects/job functions: building oiflcial, inspection,
public counter work, and staff training services.
Plan check reviews exceeding (2) reviews, deposit projects, expedited projects, overffow and/or after-hours
work, and special projects outside the scope of services will also incur additional hourly charges as listed be-
low.
These rates shall remain valid for each fiscal year of the term of the Professional Services Agreement.
Building Oiflcial $180.00
Plan Check Engineer (Registered) $170.00
Senior Plans Examiner (Non-Engineer) $130.00
Plans Examiner $120.00
Senior Building Inspector $160.00
Building Inspector $150.00
Public Counter Work $90.00
• Itemized invoices will be submitted on the 10th day of each month and are due and payable within 30
days.
• All costs of reproductive services, equipment purchase, and other expenses incidental to the perfor-
mance of this proposal are to be billed at a rate of 15% mark -up.
• RKA recalibrates its billing rates for professional time each calendar year and reserves the right to
raise the billing rate for one or more professional categories by no more than 3% once in twelve
calendar months.
