Hazardous Fire Area: this project is in a Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone of Riverside County as shown on a map on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors. Any building constructed within this project shall comply with special construction provision s contained in the California Building Code. 2. The applicant must provide a fire hydrant system capable of delivering fire flow as required by the California Fire Code and Fire Department standards. Fire hydrants shall be spaced in accordance with the California Fire Code. Based on current standards, the required fire flow is estimated to be 4,000 GPM at 20 PSI for a 4 hour duration. Estimated fire flow is based on a 598,090 square foot building area with Type III-B construction per 2019 California Fire Code. 3. The applicant must provide a fire command center for buildings larger than 300,000 square feet in area in accordance with California Fire Code 508, Lake Elsinore Municipal Code Section 15.56 and fire department standards. 4. Gates must meet Fire Department standards at the time of building permit application.
