Hello,
I called when construction was started on this project to find out exactly what was being built as it was so large. I
was told that there had been a permit purchased for a simple patio cover that should be no taller than 7-8'tall.
This is at least 16-20' high, as our fence is 8'tall, and is not a simple patio cover. Patio covers rarely extend past
the house as this one does. I have been patient with this building as it seems to be taking an extraordinary
amount of time to construct. We can no longer enjoy our back yard as this man is always on top of this structure
and just sits and watches our every move. He and his son have been sitting up there and they both make
comments when we are in the back yard. We can no longer open our blinds on the back of the house for the
same reason. He is now starting to put boards on top of this structure and I am concerned that this will become a
very large deck overlooking our back yard. We are not the only ones concerned with this structure, 2 other
neighbors have called and were told the same thing. Has anyone inspected this eyesore to make sure it is in
compliance with the permit? I have included pictures, one taken from my kitchen window, one from my bedroom
window, so that you can see what I am talking about. Please have someone get back to us on this issue.
