Not sure if any of the information I provide below will be of assistance, but I hope it helps.
Pulte widened Nichols Rd with a base pave prior to my transfer to Engineering on May 28th,
2024. In early 2024 from Lake st. to Terra Cotta rd Pulte did have the paving completed. Since
they widened it, they had to restripe and reset manholes. I do not have the exact date of when
they opened this section of road for traffic. I know they started striping on August 6th. On. or
around, August 15th I took pictures of the striping that been completed(I have attached these
as well due to being able to see temporary signage in place).
On the night of October 30th, 2024, there was an incident where a car wrecked and hit the
traffic light pole. (See attached pictures).
From the time Pulte opened Nichols rd under the new striping plan, they had stop signs at the
intersection in question on poles as well as in the center of the driving lanes on barricades.
They had even placed a temporary safety light since the traffic lights where not powered for a
period of time.
I would like to note that during the time when the traffic was using the new stripe plan, there
had been several times when Pulte's barricades with the stop signs had been stolen. Public
Works had replaced at least 1 of these at least 1 time until Pulte could replace it. During these
times, the stop signs on sign poles were always in place.
Also, I may have more specific dates within my notes, I just have not been able to find them
yet.

Hi Rennai,
During the dates provided up until Mike's retirement in 2024. Mike was in charge of
inspection of new development in that area. We need to search through his folder for
any inspections done in that area. Since then Matt has taken over since Mike's
retirement.
