I am reaching out to request access to public records regarding all short-term rental(sometimes called vacation rental)properties in Lake Elsinore.
that are in an active,renewed,or pending status.
Specifically, I am seeking any records that can help me identify the addresses of properties used as short-term rentals,vacation rentals,or similar
purposes.This may include but is not limited to:
Short-term rental/vacation rental permits or licenses
Zoning records pertaining to short-term rental/vacation rental designations
Business license applications or approvals for short-term rental/vacation rental operations
My only objective is to identify address information pertaining to short-term/vacation rental properties across the entire geographical landscape,so if
permit/license data exists,then we won't need the zoning/business license records(however,if permits/licenses do not exist then I would like the
others).
As far as a date range goes,we would like the most recent records,spanning over the last 2-years.Also,if possible, I would appreciate receiving the
information in excel format.If an alternative format is the only thing available,then please send that.
If certain records are exempt from disclosure under the applicable public records law, I request that you redact exempt portions and provide the rest.
Please also inform me if the records are maintained by another department or office.
