Subject:City Council Meeting Dates for 2025
Recommendation
Review the 2025 meeting dates and approve rescheduling the Regular meeting of November 11,
2025 to November 18, 2025 and canceling the Regular meetings of November 25 and December
23, 2025.
Background
The Regular meetings of the City Council and the Successor Agency are set in the Municipal
Code as the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. The City Council has the authority to
cancel meetings as necessary.
Discussion
The meeting on November 11 is on Veterans Day, the meeting on November 25 is near the
Thanksgiving holiday, and the meeting on December 23 is near the Christmas Holiday. Due to
the potential for a lack of quorum because of the holidays, it is recommended that the November
11, 2025 meeting be rescheduled to November 18, 2025 and that the November 25 and
December 23 meetings be canceled. All remaining meeting dates for the year, as listed in
Attachment 1, do not pose any foreseen conflicts at this time.

There is no cost associated with this item.
