Manuel Perez District 4 Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez District 5 May 29th, 2024 Family Fun Festival 6/7/2024-6/9/2024 The Fire Department has approved your application with the following conditions. • A Fire Department permit review and inspection fee is required to be paid prior to issuing your special event permit. • Maintain required fire apparatus access around red curbed areas and Emergency access. • Stages must have a portable fire extinguisher with a minimum rating of 2-A 10-BC. • Provide portable fire extinguishers with a minimum rating of 2-A 10-BC throughout the Vendor Village. Maximum travel distance from any point within the event to a portable fire extinguisher shall not exceed 75 feet. Fire extinguishers must be securely mounted. • Temporary power cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, or subject to environmental or physical damage. Cords must be secured to prevent a tripping hazard. Large diameter cords must be provided with cord bridges or ramps to facilitate the crossing of wheelchairs, strollers, and similar wheeled equipment. • Each generator or generator area shall be provided with at least one fire extinguisher with a rating of not less than 2-A 10-BC. • Canopies must be arranged in groups that do not exceed 700 square feet total. Groups of canopies must be separated by a 12-foot fire break between groups. • Carnaval rides must have State of California Approval sticker current at time of inspection. Applicant shall be responsible to contact the Fire Department to schedule inspections.
