Tim –
The City Council, as the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency, is required by
the County of Riverside to provide a certified Resolution to the County each year to confirm
special taxes for the property tax roll for CFD No. 90-2 (this year June 25, 2024). Since it is
the original Ordinance that provides for the authorization of the levy and adjustments, there
is no further action required of the City Council/Successor Agency Board.
Ordinance No. RDA 1 entitled "An Ordinance of the Governing Board of the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Lake Elsinore Levying Special Taxes Within the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Lake Elsinore Community Facilities District No. 90-2
Tuscany Hills Public Improvements)", was adopted on December 11, 1990.
Sincerely,
Jason Simpson

Correct Tax Bill?
Hello Mr. Kilroy-
Thank you again for your email. As it turns out, you were correct. Because of
some debt restructuring, the bonds were paid off early. You are not
responsible for the tax. You will be receiving a revised tax bill.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Please know that I appreciate
that you did so.
Sincerely -
Timothy J Sheridan

Hello -
I have not received anything yet. Generally, and depending on
what is going on, it usually takes about 10 days to get a response.
However, with this, I suspect it will take longer given the subject
matter.
Please know that this is on my radar and I will respond back as
soon as I can. Thank you-

Councilmen Sheridan,
Has City Staff provided you answer yet on whether
the City wrongly taxed homeowners $885,115 for a
bond principal with an actual balance of zero?
If I were you, I would’ve demand an answer within a
day or two.
