CITY COUNCIL CONSENT CALENDAR A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Tisdale, seconded by Council Member Magee to approve the City Council Consent Calendar with Item No. 13 being removed for discussion. This item was approved on the City Council Consent Calendar. 12) Reimbursement Agreement with Pulte Homes for Pavement Improvements Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a reimbursement agreement with Pulte Home, Inc. in the amount of $128,915.20 for pavement improvements in such final form as approved by the City Attorney. This item was approved on the City Council Consent Calendar. 13) Final Map 38116, Lakeside 1. Approve Final Map 38116 subject to the City Engineer’s acceptance as being true and correct; 2. Authorize the City Clerk to sign the map and arrange for recordation of Final Map 38116; and 3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Construction Agreements for Street Improvements and Monumentation. This item was removed from the City Council Consent Calendar for discussion. 14) Grant of Easement to Southern California Edison near Lake Street Approve and authorize City Manager to process the easement documents and instruct staff to forward the documents to Southern California Edison for recordation. This item was approved on the City Council Consent Calendar. This item was approved on the City Council Consent Calendar. 16) Notice of Completion for Serenity Park Fitness Trail Accept the improvements for the Serenity Park Fitness Trail project completed by Cotter Construction and authorize the City Clerk to file the Notice of Completion with the County Recorder. This item was approved on the City Council Consent Calendar. 17) Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Contractor Services with Prudential Overall Supply for Additional Employee Uniform, Shop Towels, and Logo Mat Services Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with Prudential Overall Supply for additional employee uniforms, shop towels, and logo mat services and to increase compensation by an additional $2,784.00 for a total not to exceed $23,784.00 per Fiscal Year in such final form as approved by the City Attorney. This item was approved on the City Council Consent Calendar. 18) Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Contractor Services with Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc. for Additional Environmental Services Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc. to increase compensation by an additional $3,031.24 for a total not to exceed $13,031.24 per Fiscal Year for additional environmental services in such final form as approved by the City Attorney. CITY ATTORNEY COMMENTS City Attorney Leibold had no comments. CITY MANAGER'S COMMENTS City Manager Simpson had no comments. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS/REPORTS ON MEETINGS ATTENDED Council Member Magee advised that the back basin has been sprayed with an aerial drone; and invited the community to attend the Lake Elsinore Car Cruise on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Downtown Main Street. Council Member Johnson notified residents of pavement projects that will be out for bid in September 2024 and for which construction will begin in Fall 2024; provided an update on Legislative affairs, particularly regarding the Martin v. Boise case; solicited toys for the COPS for kids Christmas in July toy drive; and invited the community to attend National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Canyon Hills Community Park. Council Member Sheridan noted that the Riverside Transit Agency Board of Directors does not meet in July. Mayor Pro Tem Tisdale encouraged residents to vote. Mayor Manos shared that Princess Hair Salon celebrated its grand opening on July 12, 2024; advised the community to save the date for Mariachi Fest, which will be held on September 21, 2024; and invited residents to attend the Christensen Community Outreach meeting, which will take place on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Cultural Center. Main Street. Closed Session will commence at 5:00 p.m. or such later time as noticed on the Agenda, and the regular Open Session business meeting will commence at 7:00 p.m.
