Recommendation
Discuss Planning Commission roles and responsibilities.
Discussion
This workshop will provide an overview of the role of the Planning Commission as defined by
State Laws and the Lake Elsinore Municipal Code. The workshop will explore the Planning
Commission’s role in policy making versus recommendations, responsibilities the Planning
Commission has, and what it needs to implement as a local agency body. The workshop will also
include discussion on the Brown Act, Public Records Act, and conflicts of interest regulations.
