FIREWORKS AND VETERANS
his Independence Day, please be courteous
and do not set off fireworks which may be
upsetting for military veterans. Loud,
unexpected noises, such as fireworks can
remind combat veterans with PTSD of
gunfire or explosions they had experienced
on the battlefield. Consider your neighbors
by not setting off fireworks.

Grade Separations:
• Preserves $150 million for grade
separations.
Highways to Blvd:
• Restores $75 million.

■ $5.1 billion available, with funding
allocated in different fiscal years.
Competitive TIRCP: $148 million
restored.
Regional Early Action Program (REAP):
■ $280 million of the Governor's proposed
$300 million cut was rejected. $480
million is included in the budget for the
MPO formula program (94% of $510 "
