Subject: Special Inspection at 105 '/2 Poe St. Lake Elsinore, Ca.
The following conditions were noted during a special inspection performed on October 15, 2014,
by Building Inspector Scott Burns. This list contains only those items visible at the time of
inspection. Additional violations may be discovered when portions of the building are
opened up for repairs and further inspections.
1. Remove and replace all broken windows, windows in bedrooms must meet min. size
requirements for emergency escape.
2. It appears that portions of the house (at the rear) do not have a foundation, provide
plans showing what you will do to achieve a foundation that meets the current building
code.
3. Electrical conduit is running through portions of the siding, remove and install correctly.
4. Pieces of the siding have been rotting out, remove and replace.
5. Holes in siding repair damaged siding.
6. Underfloor vents need to have proper screening.
7. Provide a crawl hole to the underfloor of the house. (must be sized in accordance with
current code)
8. Install a water heater, per the plumbing code.
9. Install stairs and landing at the rear door, must meet current building code.
10. Install new electrical service per current electrical code.
11. Install new rear door.
12. Install drip edge metal where it is missing.
13. Install underfloor insulation per title 24 requirements
14. Post and beam underfloor framing does not have any foundation or footing.

need to show how and what you are going to do to make it so that this dwelling will meet
the current 2013 edition of the California Building, California Pluming, California
