Applicant Address: 41891 Kalmia Street, Suite C Murrieta, CA 92562 Project Manager: Carlos Serna, MPP, Assistant Planner Log No. & Name: Planning Application No. 2019-42/Extension of Time No. 2022-04 Northwest corner of Lakeshore Drive and Riverside Drive (APN: 379- Location/Address: 290-019) Project Description: A one-year Extension of Time request for Conditional Use Permit No. 2019-10 and Commercial Design Review No. 2019-15. Environmental No new environmental documentation is required per CEQA Guidelines Determination: Section 15162. On October 20, 2020, the Planning Commission approved Conditional Use Permit No. 2019-10 and Commercial Design Review No. 2019-15 for the demolition of an existing1,132 sq. ft. convenience store and a 4,561 sq. ft. canopy with eight (8) fueling stations to construct a new 3,800 sq. ft. convenience store, a 3,910 sq. ft canopy with twelve (12) fueling stations (Project). The project also proposes to construct a 640 sq. ft trash enclosure and 12 parking spaces on an approximately 0.69-acre site According to Sections 17.415.050.1 and 17.415.070.H of the Lake Elsinore Municipal Code (LEMC), the expiration date of an approved conditional use permit and design review may be extended for no more than two years. The first extension may be granted for one year subject to the approval of the Community Development Director after consultation with other City departments if the conditional use permit and the design review complies with current laws, standards and policies. Staff has reviewed the project to ensure that the project complies with current laws, standards and policies. With the approval this extension of time request, the expiration date of Conditional Use Permit No. 2019-10 and Commercial Design Review No. 2019-15 will be extended one (1) year to October 20, 2023.
