Matter, Trustee of the Penelope Wendell Matter Trust, and Lyle K. Schroeder, as Trustee of the Schroeder Family Trust. Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, Government Code section 7920.000 et seq., please consider this letter a formal request to the City of Lake Elsinore to produce public records. We understand that the following records are publicly available under existing regulations and applicable case law concerning the Public Records Act. We hereby request copies of the following documents: 1. Any Notice of Completion for the Railroad Canyon Road Widening Project; 2. All documents, including letters, e-mails, reports, plans, and meeting minutes, that identify when all construction of the Railroad Canyon Road Widening Project was complete; 3. All documents, including letters, e-mails, reports, plans, and meeting minutes, regarding widening of Railroad Canyon Road onto any portion of the real property known as APN 363-180-010 in the City of Lake Elsinore; 4. All documents, including letters, e-mails, reports, plans, and meeting minutes, regarding widening of Railroad Canyon Road onto any portion of the real property known as APN 363-180-011 in the City of Lake Elsinore; 5. All documents, including letters, e-mails, reports, plans, and meeting minutes, regarding widening of Railroad Canyon Road onto any portion of the real property known as APN 363-190-012 in the City of Lake Elsinore. Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP Attorneys at Law Candice Alvarez, City Clerk February 6, 2024 Page 2 As used in this request, the term “documents” shall include, but not be limited to, any “writing” as defined by Evidence Code section 250 (“handwriting, typewriting, printing, photostating, photographing, photocopying, transmitting by electronic mail or facsimile, and every other means of recording upon any tangible thing, any form of communication or representation, including letters, words, pictures, sounds, or symbols, or combinations thereof”), including any notes, memoranda, correspondence, meeting minutes, e-mails, electronic calendars, computer files, and data. We would like to receive copies of these records within ten (10) days of receipt of this letter, as set forth in Government Code section 7922.535. In the event any portion of this request is denied, please set forth, pursuant to Government Code section 7922.540, the names and titles or positions of each person responsible for the denial. Please also provide a detailed statement of the reasons for non-disclosure, together with an index of the documents or portions thereof that you intend to withhold.
