ESTABLISHMENT METHODOLOGY: THE SEMI TANGENT OF THE 80 FOOT WIDE RAILROAD CANYON ROAD WAS ESTABLISHED FROM THE ALTERNATE NORTHWEST CORNER USING THE RANDOM UNE AS SHOWN ON FIELD BOOK 619,PAGE 68(R18). THE CENTERLINE AND RIGHT OF WAY WAS THEN ESTABUSHED AT RECORD ANGLE AND DISTANCE PER DEED PLAT X30 AND 701-L (R5) EAST AND WEST. THE ALIGNMENT WAS THEN VERIFIED USING THE RECORDED RIGHT OF WAY ACQUISITION DOCUMENT R16. THE CALTRANS MONUMENTATION AND RIGHT OF WAY MAPS(R4) WERE CONSIDERED TO BE THE BEST EVIDENCE TO RE-ESTABLISH THE CENTERLINES AND RIGHT OF WAYS OF GRAPE STREET, 110-FOOT WIDE RAILROAD CANYON ROAD AND CALIFORNIA SOUTHERN RAILWAY IN SECTION 9.THE ABOVE DESCRIBED CENTERLINES AND RIGHT OF WAYS WERE CALCULATED AS A WHOLE FIGURE AND ORIENTED TO THE SOUTH LINE OF SECTION 10. THE RIGHT OF WAY OF GRAPE STREET PER R3 WAS ESTABUSHED FROM THE COMMON RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF R3 AND R4. THE ABANDONED RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY IN SECTION 10 WAS ESTABUSHED FROM THE FOUND MONUMENTS PER R7 AND WAS ESTABLISHED TO THE WEST AND EAST UNES OF SECTION 10 USING THE RECORD ANGLE AND DISTANCE PER R8. COUNTY SURVEYOR'S NOTE: OVER THE YEARS VARIOUS RECORDED MAPS IN THIS AREA HAVE SHOWN ALTERNATE PROCEDURES TO ESTABLISH THEIR BOUNDARIES.IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT FUTURE SURVEYS CONDUCTED IN THIS AREA RENEW ADJOINING MAPS IN THE AREA AND EVALUATE THE INFORMATION SHOWN ON THESE RECORDED MAPS.
