For Palm Lake Property, LLC APN: 363-172-01" Legal Description: Parcel 2 of PM 19767 MB 126/17-18 Lamda: 0610 C 641 Dear Mr.Cbiu, This Report shall document the site inspection performed by the undersigned at the above referenced site, this inspection took place on June 29, 2010 at your request. The purpose of this limited inspection is to document areas of concern, provide the undersigned professional opinion, and propose options for mitigation regarding the damage caused by a car crashing and hitting the existing retaining "crib" wall in the rear of the property, this inspection and report is also limited to visual observations, no subsurface observations, soils investigations or structural analyses were done and are not part of the seope-of services, these can be provided under separate contract. The referenced wall is the retaining crib wall located at the rear of the site, near the east property line, adjacent to Casino Drive the wall varies between 10 to 15 feet high and has an approximate length of 150 feet- `Phis wall was designed and built when the site was originally developed approximately 22 years ago- Inspection Report for Retaining Wall Damage due to ear accident Property located at 31762 Mission Trail in City of Lake Elsinore Ca.. For Palm Lake Property,LLC APN:363-172-015-8,Legal Description:Parcel 2 of PM 19767 MB 126/17-18,LaaWa--0610 C 641 f) During the course of the inspection the following observations were made: 1. The car hit the top of the Middle section of the wall; the maximum area of impact was estimated to be 15 feet. 2. The damage observed consists of broken concrete pieces concentrated on the top two tears of the wall. II) The following is the Opinion of the undersigne(4 regarding the areas of concern observed and described above: 1. The damage caused by the car can be considered minor and was limited to the top two tears of the wall for a maximum length of approximately 15 feet, the opinion of the undersigned is that the structural integrity of the wall has not been compromised by the impact of the car. 2. Repairs should be performed. II1)Recommendations to mitigate: 1. All broken .and or damaged concrete pieces should be replaced and reconstructed in kind following the original approved specifications for the construction of the wall. 2. Any loose soil removed during the repairs should be back filled and manually compacted- 3. Any dirt void areas caused by erosion or animals should be manually filled with concrete. 4. All work should be done by qualified and licensed personnel. 5. If at the time the repairs take place,other conditions are found,that differ from the ones addrmscd on this limited report, this engineer should be contacted to asses conditions and to provide further recommendations under separate contras Should you have questions or comments on this regard please do not hesitate to contact meat your earliest convenience, Sincerely, Hector A.
